NATIONAL POINTS SHOOTOUT 2010
While the Gold roof or World Champion in BriSCA Formula One Stock
Car racing is determined by a one-off race at the end of a long
series of qualification the National Points, which determines which
driver’s car wears the Silver roof is decided by a late season
Shootout which features the top twelve drivers in the National
Points as determined by their performance over all race meetings
over the first five months of the season. An additional Grading
Points Award will be made to the driver scoring the most points
across all race meetings during 2010 season including the Shootout.
The final round, or Shootout Finale is the culmination of the 10
meeting series, carries double points and takes place at Coventry
Stadium on Saturday 6 November.
As
a new feature the ten meeting Shootout in 2010 will also determine
who wins the prestigious ‘Novice of the Year’ title.
