Belle
Vue Stadium Manchester
Built in 1927
Belle Vue has a heritage and was in fact
the first home of the famous Aces.
Opening for BriSCA in 1999 after over 10
years without F1 in Manchester after the
closure of the Hyde Road venue, the
`new' Vue boasts superb facilities and a
shale track that is at 285 metres the
tightest on the BriSCA tour and
inevitably leads to `proper' stock car
racing and plenty of action.
2012 sees a number of major events at
this well appointed stadium including
the showpiece season finale in November,
the Shoot Out Grand Final.

incident when you add the brute
horsepower of BriSCA F1!

in the picturesque High Peak, Buxton’s'
all weather tarmac circuit offers
spectacular vistas combined with a
`close' up feel to the racing where the

Coventry
Without doubt the historic centrepiece
of BriSCA Formula 1. The impressive
Brandon arena has hosted all the sports
major titles since 1954 and the
traditional first Saturday of the month
has become the social gathering of the
sport for drivers and fans given it's
central location. With impressive
facilities it features the biggest shale
oval in BriSCA with loads of width which
gives drivers more confidence and with
usually big grids of cars in every race,
delivers monthly high octane action.
2012 sees the traditional pattern of
monthly racing from April to November
with the British Drivers Championship
pick of the year in July.

Hednesford
Hills
Situated high
on the Cannock Chase, BriSCA F1 enjoys
an annual visit to one of the biggest
tarmac ovals in the UK. Opened in the
1960's in a disused reservoir for Hot
Rod Racing, Hednesford has witnessed
some classic stock car races over 40
years including iconic World
Championship races. A natural
amphitheatre big capacity bowl provides
dramatic viewing of the huge banked oval
which provides awesome speed and
spectacle.
2012 sees a repeat of the 2011 Midlands
Speed weekend with Birmingham the night
before and World Qualification which is
surely likely to attract a sizeable
entry from Mainland Europe

Ipswich
Foxhall
Heath is one of the sports iconic venues
and arguably biggest tarmac oval. It
features a fast tarmac oval around a
shale speedway track and leads to high
speed racing for persists. With little
camber on the bends cars are often three
and four abreast glancing the armco.
BriSCA F1 heads East annually for World
Qualification points and the venue has
hosted the BriSCA F1 World Final in,
like Hednesford, an impressive bowl
setting and enjoys being in a woodland
setting with a vast array of facilities.
2012 sees the big league in action in
June.

Northampton
Next to Coventry, BriSCA's longest
established continuous venue. Originally known as Brafield, a
change to Northampton International Raceway some years ago
raised it's profile and enjoys a big connection with Mainland
Europe fans annually staging the European Championship and World
Masters. Northampton features a generous tarmac oval that lends
itself to high speed briSCA F1 action and in 2011 produced one
of the most spectacular hard stuff World Final weekends in
living memory.

Sheffield
S6 2DE
Offering
arguably the best facilities in BriSCA
with raceview restaurants and bars and
covered accommodation, Owlerton's
history can be traced back to 1954 and
whilst the premier Greyhound Stadium has
seen multi million pound improvements,
the star of the show is the ultra fast D
shaped shale oval which is also narrow
and catches out the unwary! Flat out all
the way around with sideways action
around the corners surrounded by an
unforgiving rope and post fence,
Sheffield delivers classic BriSCA
action.
2012 sees one big event for World

Stoke
Opened as
a brand new stadium in 1973 - Chesterton
is a `true grit' and unpredictable shale
oval located in the Potteries.
After a lengthy absence F1 returned from
1993 to 2002 and Stoke became renowned
as the home of proper stock car racing.
Change of use of the stadium in 2002 saw
four wheels disappear for a number of
years until former promoters Startrax
brought it back complete with a new
armco fence in 2011 which has been a big
hit. Two dates are planned for a return
of BriSCA F1 in August and September
2011. It is expected to be a big hit
with shale drivers and hardcore fans
alike!
2012 sees Shoot Out action in September
and grand re-opening August
